  • Day 1: Capital city Vienna !
    Welcome to the capital city of Austria – Vienna ! You will be welcomed by our friendly local representative who will than transfer you to your Hotel. Relax for the rest of the day. Austria’s capital Vienna offers a blend of imperial traditions, music, and endearing charm. A city that inspires with the old and the new alike, and always has a cosy place available in a coffee house or wine tavern.Spend your time at any of the Viennese cafes sipping the famous coffee and treat yourself to the typical Sacher tortes. Enjoy good food at one of Vienna’s bistros or Beisl as they are known locally.

  • Day 2: Vienna
    After breakfast, enjoy a city tour along the famous Ringstrasse and see the most important tourist attractions Vienna has to offer including Schönbrunn Palace. Our sightseeing tour starts at the Südtiroler Platz and takes you to the Ringstrasse boulevard, where you pass many popular tourist attractions. First take a look at the impressive Vienna State Opera. It is home of the famous "Opera Ball" which takes place every year. Not far from the Opera, the grand Hofburg Palace is located, the former winter residence of the imperial family. Next you will see the monumental buildings of the Museum of Art History and the Museum of Natural History. Further sights on our tour are the neoclassical Parliament, the acclaimed Burgtheater and the striking City Hall, where the legendary Life Ball takes place. Afterwards follow the footsteps of Empress Sissi and Emperor Franz Josef at Schönbrunn Palace.  The former imperial summer residence is a listed World Heritage Site and attracts millions of people from all over the world every year. We visit the historic state-rooms and see how the imperial family once lived. Afterwards you have time to take a stroll through the palace gardens or enjoy a cup of original Viennese coffee and a piece of delicious apple strudel. The rest of the day at leisure. Relax and enjoy the evening in Vienna walking around the Mariahilferstrasse with its vibrant shops or check out the shopping along the Graben street in the Old Town. Overnight at Hotel in Vienna

  • Day 03 : Vienna
    After breakfast at the Hotel, proceed on a full day Wachau Valley with Danube river cruise. This day trip takes you from Vienna to the Wachau, a picturesque valley along the Danube, known for its excellent wine. The area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you see many medieval castles, impressive monasteries and a breathtaking landscape. You will travel from Vienna to Krems, a pretty town on the banks of the Danube river. Passby the the historical city centre – Krems. We continue on our tour and pass Dürnstein. Here you can see the ruins of Dürnstein castle on a nearby hill. This is where the English King Richard the Lionheart was held captive. At the small village of Spitz, we board the boat and sail downstream to Melk. Lush vineyards shape the landscape of the Danube Valley and reach right down to the banks of the blue Danube river. Gentle hills and green woods take turns in letting small hidden villages come into view. After the boat trip, you arrive at Melk. Continue your journey by land to the nearby Benedictine Abbey. This impressive baroque building was awarded the prize - Best Historic Destination of the World together with the Wachau in 2008. On a guided tour you will see the magnificent marble hall, the precious abbey library and the church with its unique frescoes. After this enjoyable day trip, we take you back to Vienna.   • Day 04 : Vienna-Salzburg
    After breakfast at the Hotel, you will be transferred to Vienna main railway station- Westbanhof for your train from Vienna to Salzburg. Upon arrival in Salzburg transfer to your Hotel. Relive with us the making-of the ’Sound of Music‘ movie in and around Salzburg. This tour, which has been Salzburg’s most popular tour since 1967, is a combination of both historical Salzburg and the breathtaking Lakes and Mountains region. Our guide will show you many of the film locations from the ‘Sound of Music’ and share not only background stories of the movie but also the history and culture of the region.  Overnight at Hotel in Salzburg

  • Day 05 : Salzburg
    After breakfast, proceed on a guided tour of the beautiful Hallstatt village. Located right on the shores of Lake Hallstatt, this small town is considered one of the most beautiful lake side villages in the world. Not only does it captivate you with its fairytale-like atmosphere, Hallstatt also has a rich history that dates back to the Neolithic Age.On this sightseeing tour you enjoy the breathtaking landscape of the Salzkammergut region. Once you are there, your guide takes you on a short 30-45 Minute guided walking tour of Hallstatt and shows you the most important sights. You also have an lternatively, take the cable car to the observation deck ‚Skywalk World Heritage View‘, which offers stunning views of Hallstatt, the lake and its surrounding mountains. Overnight at Hotel in Salzburg.

  • Day 06 : Salzburg-Innsbruk
    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. You will be transferred to the Salzburg main railway station to take the Austrian Federal Railways from Salzburg to Innsbruck. Innsbruck, is the capital of Austria’s Tirol and home to one of Europe’s most delightful historic old town centres. Surrounded by the craggy peaks of the Austrian Alps, it scores both as an Alpine playground and as a showcase for Habsburg Empire heritage. Explore Innsbruck’s picturesque old city, and make your way to the Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl), the city’s most famous landmark. Stroll along the bustling Maria Theresien Street and stop off at Das Schindler, a Gault Millau-awarded restaurant, for a delicious meal. This evening, soak up to the Tyrolean music and folk dancing with this 1.5-hour show in Innsbruck. Settle into your seat at the family-owned Sandwirt Restaurant and watch the Gundolf family perform the Schuhplattler, a fast-paced dance, along with other traditional steps that have been passed down through many generations. To treat your taste buds to a hearty helping of Austrian cuisine included is a 3-course meal, including wiener schnitzel and other regional specialties. Return back to the Hotel.   • Day 07 : Innsbruk
    After breakfast, you can enjoy your day at your own pace with the 24 hrs Innsbruck card. Use your Innsbruck Card for a ride with the Nordkettenbahn to the Top of Innsbruck. The mountain at the heart of Innsbruck. The Nordkette is part of Austria’s largest nature park, the Karwendel Nature Park, and can be reached directly from Innsbruck city centre in just a few minutes! The breathtaking 360° view leaves a lasting impression, with the capital of the Alps on one side and Tyrol’s most extensive conservation area on the other. On your return bound you may visit the Alpenzoo - Around 2000 alpine animals of around 150 species are cared for on a little over 4 hectares in natural enclosures, terrariums and aquariums. No other zoo in the world shows such a complete collection of wild animals from the Alpine region.  In the afternoon we recommend you to take the shuttle bus from Innsbruck main railway station to Swarovski Crystal World in Wattens where you will have free admission with your Innsbruck Card.   • Day 08 : Fly Back Home.
    Enjoy Breakfast at the Hotel. Your holiday comes to an end today as you head to the airport for your flight back home. Return back home with wonderful memories of your Alpine trip !

Fun Facts About Austria

  • Austria Is Home To The Oldest Restaurant In Europe St Peter Stiftskeller - It was built inside St. Peter's Abbey in Salzburg in the year 803. Greats such as Mozart and even Christopher Colombus are said to have eaten at the restaurant. Despite hundreds of years of different extensions and renovations the restaurant has always maintained its Baroque style. Currently, the old stone interior design of Stiftskeller remains to look very historic yet contemporary.
